MRG Foundation is looking for intersectional activists and organizers to help redistribute resources in Oregon! As a member of the MRG community we know you have the insight, skills, and passion to support this work, so we invite you to join our Grant Making Committee and allocate dollars to grassroots organizing across the state.
We are looking for folks who are collaborative, work across organizing issues, and can meet the time commitments listed below:
- Grant Makers are expected to attend two in-person meetings per General Grant Cycle — one in Portland and one in Eugene. A General Grant Cycle spans two years for Fall and Spring. Travel reimbursement included!
- Commitment of 4-6 cycles (2-3 years)
- Review and score up to 30 applications at the beginning of each grant cycle, review and allocate mid-cycle.
- 2-3 site visits (by phone or in person) per grantmaker at the beginning of each grant cycle.
MRG Foundation is holding a Grant Maker Orientation Saturday, February 11th, 2018 at the MRG office in Portland. A webinar will be available for folks who aren’t able to attend the meeting in person.
