I am a former Pacific Northwest resident currently living in Arizona. I am a stand up comedian (totally clean) that focus’ on growing up Transgender in the fifties and sixties, before the term Transgender was coined. I am performing from coast to coast and have also been in the new television series “Transparent” and an up coming episode of “Glee.”I am on the BOD of two 501 3C non profits in Phoenix serving the LGBT community. I often travel to Portland and would like to apply for this opportunity. Since I am not an Oregon resident may I still apply?
Thank you,
Maryanne Marttini
Hi Maryanne – Thanks for your note! It sounds like you have some really great experiences, but the Lilla Jewel Fund for Women Artists is specifically designated for Oregon-based artists. Unfortunately, none of the criteria are flexible.
