LUFM formed in response to the passage of a local anti-immigrant ballot measure in Columbia County. Seeing this as an opportunity to engage with the broader community, LUFM organized the Process for Respect and Dignity to demonstrate to the community that Lations are human beings who contribute to the community and deserve to be treated with dignity.
